Outside the tech realm, I've embraced the spotlight as Miss Sucre, making it to the top 13 at the Miss Universe Colombia 2021 competition. During this journey, I utilized the contest platform to advocate for the importance of women in STEM fields, aiming to inspire young girls and women to pursue their passion in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
I've also engaged in science/tech outreach as a Radio and TV host across multiple countries, starting in 2010 and continuing on a seasonal basis. My role has allowed me to break down complex concepts into accessible information, presented in a friendly and captivating way, with the aim of cultivating a culture that values STEM literacy.
